Revision Rhinoplasty with Septal Perforation Repair

This patient had prior nasal surgery with an ENT surgeon performing the functional surgery ("inside work") and a plastic surgeon performing the rhinoplasty ("outside work"). The initial surgery was complicated by a perforation of the nasal septum. In addition, she still had problems breathing and persistent nasal deformity. Dr. TerKonda corrected all of her functional and cosmetic problems in one setting. Unfortunately, 5-10% of patients who have rhinoplasty, need revision surgery. In the after photographs, you will notice her beautiful eyes, which were not as apparent on the before photos. This is a common phenomenon. Nasal deformities distract from people looking into your eyes when talking to them.
